Virtual Training Assistantâ„¢ Online Help
Several pages or reports in Learner will display a Student's enrollment Status value.
This is the current enrollment Status of the Student for a Schedule Class Session.
Possible Status Codes:
Attending - Student is set to attend, or attended, the Class Session. They will receive credit for attending the class when the session is moved to history (by a System Administrator or the Instructor).
Attend (Pending) - Student enrollment requires approval by their Primary Supervisor. They are not set to attend until approval is given.
This status is also used for Self-Study
courses that require Primary Supervisor approval before the student is
allowed to view and start online lessons.
Canceled - Student enrollment was canceled by a System Administrator, a Supervisor or themselves.
Excused - Student flagged as "Excused" by a System Administrator or Instructor.
Incomplete - Student flagged as "Incomplete" by a System Administrator or Instructor.
No Show - Student flagged as "No Show" by a System Administrator or Instructor.
Rejected - Student enrollment request was rejected by their Primary Supervisor.
Unapproved - Student enrollment request was not approved within the allotted time period by their Primary Supervisor.
Wait Listed - Student is wait-listed because the maximum class enrollment allowed was reached, but space on the Wait List is available.
If another student in the same session
cancels their enrollment, and a space on the Roster is made available,
VTA will automatically enroll the next person on the Wait List (in the
order that they were added to the Wait List).
Wait (Pending) - Student enrollment requires approval by their Primary Supervisor AND the maximum class enrollment allowed was reached. They are not set to attend until approval is given AND a space on the Roster is made available.
How a student gets flagged as "Excused", "Incomplete" or "No Show" is up to the organization managing enrollment. If you have questions about how these decisions are made, contact your System Administrator.
