Add Resource

Overview

This page is used to assign resources to a student as part of a Personal Development Plan.  You can access this page from Competency Assessment Details.

To Locate A Resource

When the page is first opened, the competency being assessed is pre-selected in the drop down lists at the top of the page.  If your System Administrator has already associated Resources with this competency, the bottom portion of the page will display a Resource Map, which maps resources across the Proficiency Level Proficiency Levels are the measurement criteria against which a student is assessed for a given Competency.s that the resource supports.  In the Resource Map, the Target Proficiency Level The desired Proficiency Level that should be achieved by the student for each assigned Competency. is indicated with a gold star.

If no resources are initially shown, you can search for a resource by selecting:

1. The Competency Group for which you need to locate resources.
2. The Site that owns the competency.
3. The name of the competency.
4. The site that owns the resource.  Please note that you may also select "All Sites" as the resource site.
5. Next, click the Search button.

Selecting A Resource

Once you have located the desired resource to assign to a student, simply click on the resource name.  Learner will fill in the resource information on the Competency Assessment Details page and return you to that page.
