Classes in Learner may consist of multiple lessons. You will need to complete all required lessons to receive credit for the class.
There are several types of lessons in Learner. These include:
Document
A document may be any on-line learning material, such as an MS Word
file, an MS PowerPoint presentation, an e-learning
module or a series of web pages. This
type of training is normally self-paced, although the lesson developer
may choose to limit your time in the module.
Pre-Test
One or more pre-tests may be included in a class. For
information on taking on-line tests, see How
To: Take Online Tests.
-Class-
This lesson type indicates an instructor-led or "classroom"
module. For
classes that contain an instructor-led component, there may be both pre-class
and post-class
lessons.
Checklist
A checklist is a series of items on which you will be evaluated. Although
you may print the Checklist, only a supervisor or System Administrator
can give you credit for completing a checklist.
Test
One ore more tests may be included in a class. For
information on taking on-line tests, see How
To: Take Online Tests.
Evaluation
Evaluations are used to gather information and opinions about classes
from students. You
may be required to complete the evaluation to receive credit for the class.
For more
information, see About Evaluations.
Required lessons must be taken in order. For example, you may not take the second lesson before completing the first.
