How To: Take Online Training

Learner provides the ability to launch online training modules.  These modules can include documents for you to read, web-based training, streaming video and other types of e-learning.  

All online training is launched from the Class Lessons page.  Lessons that have an online training component will have a "Run" link in the Action column.  Click the "Run" link to open the online training in a new browser window.

You can access the Lessons for Class page from:

1. My In-Progress Training or My Schedule
   Select either In-Progress Training or My Schedule to view your in-progress training or your scheduled classes, respectively.  Classes with lessons will have a "Resume" link.  Click this link to go to the Lessons for Class page.

2. My Plan

   1. Courses that you have already started will have a "Resume" link.  Click this link to go to the Class Lessons page.

   2. Courses with only self-study lessons that you have not started will have a "Start" link.  Click this link to go to the Course Description page.  On the Course Description page, click the Start button to go to the Lessons for Class page.

   3. Courses that have an instructor-led or classroom module will have a "Schedule" link.  This is because you must first schedule the class before you can take the class lessons.  Click the Schedule link to view the Course Schedule page.  After enrolling in a class you will be taken to the Enrollment Results page.  If the class has lessons, the Enrollment Results page will have a View Lessons button that will take you to the Class Lessons page.

You can also get to the Class Lessons page from the Program Status page if the course is assigned as part of a Program.
