Overview

This page is used to manage your VTA Blog Articles.

You can:

1. Start a new blog article.

2. View/edit articles you have written, but not Published (in the Draft stage).

3. View/edit articles you have written and Published, including the current Rating average and counts and Published Date.

You can choose to limit the articles in your view by making a selection in the Show filter.

This page can be added to Your Favorites () or set as your Learner start page () by clicking the icon in the top-left corner of the page.

New Article

Click the New Article button to start writing a new blog entry.

The Add Article page will let you:

• Switch the article from the Draft stage to the Published stage (allowing it to be searched for or viewed in Learner).
• Set a Publish Date to control when it will start being viewable in Learner when Published.
• Turn on (or off) the Allow Ratings option.
• Add a Title.
• Add a Summary. This is displayed on the following pages:

• Blogs I Follow
• Blogs For Skill
• Blog Search Results
• Person Details Blog tab

• Write your article using a text editor to help you control how it displays in Learner.

• Keep in mind that as you apply P (Paragraph), H1 (Heading Level 1), H2 (Heading Level 1) or H3 (Heading Level 1) formats, they are using formatting styles standard in Learner. What you see in the text editor will be displayed for the reader with the applied styles.

Edit Article

Click the Edit button for any listed article to continue writing a blog Draft or change a Published entry.

The Edit Article page works just like the Add Article page described above.
