Virtual Training Assistantâ„¢ Online Help
This page is accessed by selecting the External Training from the menu.
It allows students or their supervisors to record training events not included in the organization's official course catalog (such as college courses, training conferences, etc.).
Each row on this grid includes:
Title
The title of the external training event.
Date
The date of the external training event.
Category
Each external training event can be associated to a category.
Added By
This indicates who added the external training event to your records
("Student", "Supervisor" or "Administrator").
You can click on the Title, Date, Category or Added By column headers to sort the grid by the selected column.
Hover over the Advanced Tool Tip icon to display additional information about the external training.
Your System Administrator may set up the following access rights for External Training record:
Students may only edit or delete records
they have added. They cannot edit or delete records added by supervisors
or administrators.
Supervisors may only edit or delete records
they or the student have added. They cannot edit or delete records added
by administrators.
To add an event record, click on the Add button below the grid.
To edit a record, click on the Title value, make your changes and click OK.
To delete an event record, select the records you wish to delete and click on the Delete button below the grid.
