My Wishlist

Overview

The My Wishlist page contains courses which you have expressed an interest in by clicking an Add To My Wishlist button in VTA Learner.  Supervisors can view another person's My Wishlist page. They do this by selecting a student just as they do on the My Plan page. Courses can also be added to your Wishlist by your System Administrator.

Why Use Wishlist

Consider adding something to your Wishlist for one of the following reasons:

Note: Your System Administrator may disable the automated 'Wishlist' notices.  Check with your System Administrator to determine if Learner will automatically notify you when a course on your Wishlist is scheduled.

Removing Courses

Once your System Administrator takes the action to move a session you attended for a course on your Wishlist from being scheduled to being history, it will automatically be removed from your My Wishlist page.

Note:  If your System Administrator gives you direct credit for the course (meaning it was never scheduled in VTA), the course will not be automatically be removed from your My Wishlist page.

If you are no longer interested in a course, or do not want to receive further email notifications, you can remove the course from your My Wishlist page by selecting the course on the grid and clicking the Delete button (below the grid).

Grid Results

The results grid will have the following columns:

The Course Title and Request Date columns are sortable by clicking the column header name.

Selection Checkbox

You can select one or more Courses or use the checkbox in the column header to select all courses in the grid.

Course Title

The title of the course.

Click the Course Title link to view the Course Description page.

Hover over the Course Title to display an Advanced Tool Tip with the following course information:

Request Date

The date the course was added to your Wishlist

Action

If the course is scheduled, clicking the See Schedule link to display the Course Schedule page. If the course is not presently scheduled the Action column will be blank.
