Virtual Training Assistantâ„¢ Online Help
As a student, you can enroll yourself into a classroom training event.
As a supervisor, you can enroll a single other person or an entire group of people at once - as long as they report to you.
See the Class Schedule and Class Description pages for more information about where you can access scheduled events and all information available about a session for which you are looking to enroll. This help topic assumes they have been reviewed so it can stay brief.
Your System Administrator may choose
to disable one or more features for online enrollment.
Select which scenario you want to learn about:
Whichever way an enrollment is processed,
depending on the system's configuration selected by your System Administrator,
the enrolled person will receive an email with a calendar attachment to
confirm your enrollment and then you may receive up to 2 attendance reminder
notifications prior to the class start date.
Access the Class Description page from the variety of ways available as described on the Class Schedule Help page.
Click the Sign-Up button.
If the enrollment maximum has been reached, but the class allows a waiting list, you can add yourself to it by clicking the Join Waiting List button.
If the Sign-Up button is disabled, enrollment for that class is closed.
Learner will display the Enrollment Results page.
You need to pay for the class before completing enrollment.
You may need approval from your Primary Supervisor to finalize enrollment.
You may have Pre-Class Lessons to complete before attending the class. Click the View Lessons button to view and complete them.
You may be wait-listed.
As a Supervisor, self-enrollment from the My Plan page works exactly the same when you have selected yourself in the Student Selector.
From all other enrollment options, it essentially works the same as above except the Class Description page will have an Enroll Me button instead of a Sign-Up button.

Choose one of the following methods to enroll students.
Select My Plan from the main menu. Select the student you wish to enroll. (Note that you can select yourself!) The system will display the Learning Plan page. For any course on the student's plan that includes a "Schedule" link in the Action column, click the Schedule link to view the Course Schedule page. On the Course Schedule page, locate a class that fits the student's schedule and click the link in the Topic column. This will take you to the Class Description page. If the class is available for enrollment, you can click the Sign-Up button to enroll the student.
Select Schedule from the main menu. The system will display the View Class Schedule page. Locate a class for which you wish to enroll students. Then click the link for that class in the Title column. The system will take you to the Class Description page. If the class is available for enrollment, you can click the Enroll/Cancel button. The system will take you to the Group Enrollment page, where you can select students to enroll or cancel.
Search for a course on either the Course Search or Find Course pages. Click the See Schedule link below the course title. This will take you to the Course Schedule page. On the Course Schedule page, locate a class that fits your schedule and click the link in the Topic column. This will take you to the Class Description page. If the class is available for enrollment, you can click the Enroll/Cancel button. The system will take you to the Group Enrollment page, where you can select students to enroll or cancel.
If the course has been assigned to your student as part of a Program, you can also enroll from the Program Status page. Select My Programs from the main menu. Select the student you wish to enroll. (Note that you can select yourself!) Choose the program containing the course and click the 'View' link in the Action column. Now click the Schedule link in the Action column. This will take you to the Course Schedule page. On the Course Schedule page, locate a class that fits the student's schedule and click the link in the Topic column. This will take you to the Class Description page. If the class is available for enrollment, you can click the Enroll/Cancel button. The system will take you to the Group Enrollment page, where you can select students to enroll or cancel.
